Directions To Lax By Car
Heading to Los Angeles Airport? It's located at 1 World Way in the city. If you're driving up from the West Coast, the quickest way is via I-5, which goes all the way to Vancouver. When it reaches LA, take exit 46 off the I-405 San Diego Freeway and you'll be close by. Other popular routes include the I-15 and I-40, which connect with the I-10 to eventually join onto the I-5 and the 405. Bus To LAX
If you're looking for convenient transportation from LAX, the FlyAway bus service could be just what you need! This 24/7 service takes passengers to and from the airport terminals to selected locations including the San Fernando Valley, Downtown, UCLA, Hollywood and Long Beach. For other destinations, there are free shuttle buses that run between the LAX terminal buildings and the Economy parking lot, plus a Metro bus station from where you can access the Metro Green Line and various local bus services. So wherever you're headed, there's an option to get you there!
Train To LAX
Getting to LAX by train isn't the easiest thing. Unfortunately, there's no direct service; you have to take a bus after getting off at Union Station or at Aviation Green Line Station. You can also get a FlyAway bus from Union Station, but it might be slow during peak hours due to traffic. There are plans in the works to extend the line all the way to LA International, but it's still in progress. In the meantime, these are your two best options for getting to and from the airport by public transport.
