At T1 you're charged on an hourly basis, and prices go up the longer you stay - so it might be expensive if you'll be gone for more than a day. Terminal 2 also has a covered walkway for easy access, but it's got 2900 spaces and 16 charging points for electric vehicles. In 1942, the US Army Air Corps expanded the runway to its current length of 8750 feet. Terminals 1 and 2 opened in 1967 and 1979 respectively, with the Commuter Terminal opening in 1996. A $1 billion expansion of Terminal 2 was completed in 2013 and it looks like we'll be seeing more improvements and expansions ahead as passenger numbers continue to surge.
